요즘 GIMPS 같은 델 안 돌아 다녀서 모르고 있었는데, 저번 달 27일에 새 메르센 소수가 발견되었다고 한다. 자세한 것은 공식 자료를 참고하길... 혹시 저 숫자가 어떻게 생겨먹었는 지 알고 싶으면 그 유명한 Landon Curt Noll의 Mersenne prime digits를 볼 것. (이 사람은 IOCCC를 만든 사람이기도 하다)

메르센 소수 등등에 대한 전반적인 페이지는 역시 The Prime Pages가 최고다.
